It was ok. This was a 146-page fast-paced Friends-to-Lovers Christmas MM romance novella about 2 smalltown rascals falling for each other behind closed doors. There wasn't much purpose to the plot. It was for pure exploration of a Bi-Awakening individual and all the spice they did together. 4/5🌶!
It was nice to revisit Collier Creek again. Series 1 was a fun time. Ensemble characters from those books do make cameos but nothing too extensive. Some little easter eggs to future characters are laid out to get you excited for the rest of the Holiday Series.
At the end of the novella, the author thanks the reader for enjoying their work in BOOK 2, when Amazon & Goodreads has it listed as Book 1. I didn't get the feeling I was missing anything if it was book 2, though.
**Personal Note: Book 110 of 2025 (July)
