This was my first Ali Hazelwood novel and I enjoyed it enough that I want to read some over her other popular books. It did take me a while to get into this one. Fake dating tropes aren’t my favorite. It was also very cliched in more of a cringey way than giggly way for me. But about half way through it picked up and I got more into the story. I did love the STEM aspect of the story and also loved the vulnerability of Olive’s sexuality. It was different from most romances and I appreciated it.
