I'm finding this book difficult to rate. On the one hand, the plot & pacing kept me reading through to the end. It gave me nostalgic Hunger Games feels. I appreciated the dynamic and growth between the two MC's. On the other, the premise/world didn't feel fully realized (perhaps because it was only one book?) and the ending just...left it all feeling just a bit flat.
That being said, I would still definitely give this author's other works a try.
