This book would have been 5 stars for me if the translation was done a little bit better. It comes across as a bit choppy at times because of the German to English translation and IMO could have used another set of eyes to edit it, however, I will still be looking forward to reading other books by this author.
As far as the show goes, this book filled in some details and the thought processes that the show simply couldn't because of what is and isn't appropriate for TV. So if you enjoyed the show I think you will love the book just as much because you get to learn a little bit more about Cora and how she grew up.
