This book was irreverently beautiful. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I now do, but it had all of the makings of my favorite reads— disturbing imagery, dark humor, homoeroticism, and rustic landscapes. Not to mention a really ironic and sexual homage to Ricola cough drops.
