A really lovely return to the world of Emily Wilde and her misadventures in Faerie. It's always a warm comfort to read the words of her journals, listen to her excited ramblings about her discoveries, and tag along on her quests.
My one criticism would be that it feels like the characters go into this events of this book and come out on the other side largely unchanged. I would have liked to see some more character development, but Emily and Wendell remain their usual selves by the end of it all. Either way, I love their usual selves, so it's not a very large complaint.
I love them and can't wait til I can return to this world again!
