Festive in Death by J.D. Robb

Another softer instalment - felt this one was more about Eve's relationships with others - she was even nice to Summerset, just the once mind!!
Christmas was not something in Eve's past so seeing her struggles with all the paraphernalia is fun, but she is still her abrasive self. And she does give some magalicious gifts.
The murder element is fairly tame, no long drawn out torture or gruesome murders. However, the impact of murder is still the same and despite a fairly cut and dried suspect, I did have my doubts that it was all too neat. Luckily Eve thought it through.
