Julia Connors scored once again with Cross Checked! I thoroughly enjoyed this 3rd installment of the Boston Rebels series and read it straight through from cover to cover. Although this is a part of series you can totally read it as a standalone so don’t hesitate to read this one. This book has that sports romance, forbidden workplace, enemies to lovers vibe with a hot Hockey playing single dad. If you want some angst mixed with your spicy romance and a strong inspiring FMC then you are in the right place. Ronan McCabe is the single dad that will have you begging for more. Not to mention the mouth on him is going to have you reaching for a cold glass of water. AJ is going to give you the girl boss vibes and inspiration we all need in this world. Together this couple was sizzling off the page. I enjoyed the banter and the way their relationship grew from zero to hundred. When you finally get your HEA it’s well worth it.
