The Eyes & the Impossible by Dave Eggers
5.0

I was pulled right in with this book. The dog who narrates is such a treat and getting to spend time with him and the way he sees the world was so much fun. First the dog gets captured on a leash because he is distracted by museum art pieces. Then all his friends prepare to get him into the museum, but goats show up and reveal they are living on an island, so they put together a plan to get the buffalo off the island, but the buffalo don't want to go all the way once they see the sea. So instead the dog goes out into the world and the main land. There is just so much beauty to be found in this book and a whole lot of big ideas that have given the story a place in my heart.
