This was my first Tessa Bailey book, and I have to say I am really disappointed. The plot had such promise, but ultimately, the writing and banter did not work for me at all. It tries way too hard to be funny. I like a relationship to be built on more than just lust. The characters were unlikeable to the point where I have no interest in reading the other books in this series.
