So this book would have gotten more stars from me if the relationships wasn't between step siblings . I couldn't get past that fact in some scenes and it gave me the ick.
Other than that, I did enjoy it. I loved how Sara cate touched on mental illness for not only the MMC but also slightly with the FMC also. She did it in a way that was subtle yet impactful.
the FMC being a sex worker and Sara cate writing her as being someone proud of it was fantastic. There's so much taboo with being a sex worker and seeing it being written in a positive light, where the person has consensually entered into that line of work was a breathe of fresh air.
