It is amazing to me that Robert Kirkman, et al, have managed to keep this series interesting for so long. They've never grown complacent with the characters, and they're not afraid to GRRM them, if necessary. This volume is a special version of that. The story has developed into a bizarre, post apocalyptic melodrama, but in the best possible way. I'm interested in seeing where it continues to go
