Diamond Fire by Ilona Andrews

4.0

I love Ilona Andrews. She's one of my favorite authors without any doubt. Kate Daniels is my favorite heroine ever. But I wish they drop the spin-offs and write more of their rich creative hot UF. But that's just me. So I was basically dreading reading Catalina's book. Surprise, surprise, I liked this story and not just, that, I'm looking forward to reading her story... Well, never been happier for being wrong about a book still wish they drop the spin-offs.

I also liked Catalina's pov more than Nevada's. Nevada exaggerated a loooot. One of the very few things I hate about Nevada and Kate (it has to do more with the writing style, I think). I get it. I swear. I had 3 books of Connor and I know how scary he is, no need to remind me at every chance you get. Catalina, thank God, didn't.

Yeah, anyway, back to this short story, it featured a mystery, nothing very complex but still fun. I do think we have too many characters, even if understandable, I simply couldn't keep track because of my laziness (to check who that character was).

I'm glad we had 0 romance with Alessandro, can't wait to read about them!! I love her family and Mad Rogan and their interactions are alwasys enjoyable.
