Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined
by Stephenie Meyer
Honestly....I liked this more than the whole Twilight series. Beau and Edythe had so much more chemistry and humour than Bella and Edward, like you could actually feel their love for each other in comparison to Bella and Edward's creepy obsession thing. It felt like Beau saw Edythe as an interesting person (sure he went overboard once or twice with godess descriptions but that's to be expected) whereas Edward only ever see Bella as some perfect virgin Mary who could do no wrong that he corrupted merely by being around her. And I actually like the new ending, it felt a lot more conclusive and went down less crazy, you-imprinted-on-my-daughter avenues. The only issue I had was the names. I mean, come on, Royal Hale? There are other names beginning with R. Richard. Reginald. Both work so much better than Royal. And dont even get me STARTED on Beaufort. All in all, I loved this book and would 100% reach for it sooner than I'd reach for the original Twilight. Stephenie Meyer should definitely write in this style in the future.
