This books was like crack! I ate it up and just connected insanely to these characters. I love the way the series overlaps and you get to go back to see parts with different POVs but also get to see what else was going on during those times and more. The found family elements throughout also bring such a wholesomeness to the book that I continue to want more of. Also, the slow-burn of Rhys and Tabatha's relationship is everything and more, as are all the couples throughout the series, making me need more ASAP.
I want to always thank the amazing narrators, Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor, for their portrayal of these characters and bringing them to life, making them feel more real. I was very excited to get to listen to another Samantha production after reading Scythe & Sparrow by Brynne Weaver and This was an amazing introduction to Jason's talented and omg that scruffy, gravely voice he does for Rhys is everything!!!
