3.0 round down. Some interesting, poignant insights on marriage, gender, and society -especially what it means to be a woman. I didn’t click with the characters at all. Everyone was unsympathetic and seems stuck. Characters also lacked diversity; they all seemed a slight shade of the same person. This could have been a DNF but I pulled through, hoping there would be something to root for.
