I was a bit surprised to see that this author was male. Until now I always had the impression that male authors were a little less elaborate in the feelings department. So my prejudices are shot to pieces in a good way. I quiet enjoyed the writing style.
Even with the personal struggles of the MC's this was a rather upbeat slow burn romance (heavy on the slow) with a bit of suspense. Personally I would have liked a bit more of the suspense part, because it seemed really interesting and Fox and Jonah really made a good team in and out of the job.
