I really struggled to finish this book. It moved along with a good pace as the characters looked to escape London, but then the story elements grew repetitive for me once they were aboard the ship. Plot progression from that point became tedious, it was hard to stay engrossed, and unfortunately the main character becomes irksome beyond her personality flaws and lack of experience in life. I wanted to love the book but for me it unfortunately fell flat.
