The Promised Neverland, Vol. 19 by Kaiu Shirai, Posuka Demizu
4.5

I like the attack on the orphanage. Them making actual, proper plans, figuring things out and them being somewhat victorious. I also enjoy the fact that the moms finally revolted, that they were done being food the whole time. I am confused though that Leuvis still lives, and that he is there to save Mujika and Sonju. Also, the dad part was like a slap to the face, especially how Tomas (was it Tomas???) reacted and remembered Lucas, who was like a parental figure to them. I really need to write that fix-it au. Anyway, I hope that the next volume will wrap it up all nicely. It feels like there is still a lot to be done (saving all the kids, figuring out how the Lambda kids going to survive, what the promise is and how they're going to the human world???). Anyway, I really enjoy the manga and this was a very fun, action packed volume wherein all the fruits of the kids labour is paying off.
