Notes on a Case of Melancholia, Or: A Little Death by Nicholas Gurewitch
4.0
It was a three-year wait from the original Kickstarter until the book arrived.
Totally worth it.
I can't imagine the amount of work that went into handscratching every little line in these drawings, but Nicholas Gurewitch (the Perry Bible Fellowship guy) has created a beautiful book that is not only one of the purest love letters to Edward Gorey that has ever been created, but a wonderfully touching -- and twisted -- story.
I can't get over the artwork. I want to study this book.
