First time reading Dickens in its original form and, oh boy, did he know how to write. I got lost marvelling the beauty of his sentences, so well constructed and connected, that I had to reread some parts.
It is a depressing story, but it has a happy ending. Even though it is a somehow long book, don't be fooled by its size, it's quite engaging, it keeps you wanting to continue their adventures. Oh and the humor? Gosh, I love Dickens' humor!
It took me years to finish it, however, it wasn't due to the story or not grabbing me as it was supposed to. Life and other books got in the way.
