4.5⭐️s. The first book by this author was a 10/10. This one fell a little short. But only a little. & that’s just because I got a little confused in the mid chapters , with the aunties. It’s still definitely one of the best books. I’ve read all year. And I would highly recommend it !!!
It definitely made me think twice about cosmetic surgery ! This book was funny but real at the same time. I loveeeeddd all the POVs from the different women. Women go through so much. It’s really unfair & universal.

is book explores the themes of unrealistic beauty standards & expectations, gender trauma, cultural familial relationships, with a genius sense of humour. I am absolutely in love with @damilarekuku first book , “Nearly All the Men in Lagos Are Mad” so I had super high hopes for this one... & it did not disappoint.

✨ Let’s get into it, Family secrets, judgmental aunties, Covid 19 Memories , & Brazilian butt lifts.
In Only Big Bumbum Matters Tomorrow, Damilare Kuku brings her signature humor, boldness, and compassion to each member of this loveable but exasperating family, whose lives reveal the ways in which a woman’s physical appearance can dictate her life and relationships and show just how sharp the double-edged sword of beauty can be!!
