As much as I did like this book, I think the synopsis is incredibly misleading. It doesn’t mention anything about the manchild that is Cameron — which I really didn’t enjoy his story until about 2/3s in. I really wish there was more of Tova and the Marcelle’s conversations. I think there were maybe three or four scenes of that in the entirety of the book. I did however enjoy Marcelle’s POV chapters, those were really fun and I would’ve loved to hear more of his stories and POVs.

All in all, it was a very cute story it was a bit repetitive at times and the ending was predictable and sad but satisfying.

Just be warned that this book is not just about Tova and Marcelle’s relationship, that’s just like a 1/3 of the story.
