That last twenty percent
This was definitely painful love. That last twenty percent really broke me. I was full on bawling from emotion. Whaley and Bunky were definitely made for each other. Twisted and damaged, but they fit each other so well. There was no one else that could handle them.
I loved seeing more of Silas and Blaine after the end of their book. And the same with Landon and Raid. Fox was a treat, and I loved his bond with Bunky. And Badge was such a magnificent character.
This was definitely darker than Hateful Love. Would definitely suggest going into this prepared for some triggering things. But it was so good. Whaley and Bunky were such complex characters. And I was so happy to get to know them deeper.
Can’t wait for book three. Will definitely be reading.
