I don't know what the purpose of this book was but whatever it was, it wasn't well done. If it was a feminist commentary, Handmaid's Tale did it better. If it was just about the meat industry, etc then Meat by Poppy was better. If it was just about how grief fucks you up, Monstrillio did it better.

the most interesting part was the world itself and that was lamentably not the focus
