Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

4.0

This book is surprisingly really good, and I couldn't put it down. However, I didn't like the ending, although I can't exactly say it wasn't expected. I also didn't like the way that people talked to Lennie or about Crooks, but it all makes sense when you take into account the time period that the book is written in, which is the great depression.I mean, the copyright year is 1937, so obviously it's not going to be really politically correct.

Even with those tiny things that bothered me, I enjoyed it immensely and couldn't put it down.
