Summer Intern by Carrie Doyle Karasyov

3.0

Kira has just started a summer internship at Skirt magazine, only THE best fashion magazine there is. The summer before her freshman year at Columbia should be a time to soak up as much experience as she can and get to know the city, but the drama at the magazine kind of takes over. Determined to be the best intern and win the coveted editor-in-chief internship, Kira has a setback when she realizes that her biggest competition is Daphne Hughes, the daughter of the publishing magnate who owns the magazine. It looks to be a long summer...

I really liked this chick-lit for teens. It was a quick read that kept my attention throughout.
