Divergent by Veronica Roth
5.0
4.5 stars
Part of me knows I shouldn't be giving this 4.5 stars. The premise and world building are shaky, and if I try to think about it too much, I'm sure everything would just fall apart. However, I can't bring myself to care about any of that because I just really enjoyed the ride the book took me on. I did not want to put the book down from the moment I started it. I was always eager to find out what was going to happen and found myself trying to speed up my reading pace so I could get to the next page faster. Veronica Roth has got to be doing something right for me to feel like that with a book that admittedly has problems.
