Tired as F*ck: Burnout at the Hands of Diet, Self-Help, and Hustle Culture by Caroline Dooner

Super mixed feelings about this one. I liked it in the beginning, but it dragged throughout the middle and I really had to force myself to finish it. There were some relatable insights in here, but a lot of it was also very repetitive. The author makes an attempt to acknowledge her privilege, but I feel like a lot of her advice is not really accessible to the majority of the population. I feel like this should’ve just been written entirely as a memoir instead of trying to also blend with self-help. The constant italicized words also drove me INSANE. When you’re emphasizing a word in literally every sentence, kinda takes away from the point of emphasizing in the first place. Oh and I made the mistake of looking up the author on Instagram…big yikes.
