Fixer-Upper: How to Repair America's Broken Housing Systems by Jenny Schuetz

informative medium-paced

3.5

Kind of surface level on many of the topics covered. Would have liked more case studies and a bit more delving into things like how building codes can be modified to enable more housing supply. Definitely liked the chapter on exactions and helped me think about just how insidious exactions are. Also thought it was weird to talk a lot about federal home ownership subsidies but not mention the possibility of taxing imputed rents.
