this was better than the first book. it was slow in the beginning and i didn't really cared about the plot or the characters but then it got better, it was nice to see more of Pip's character i think she's underdeveloped (like all the other characters) but in this book it felt like we see her develop a little bit. also it was kinda obvious to me that

Charlie

was involved cause yk

he is new to town

but i didn't mind it. also another thing i can't believe is that this book made me like

Stanley

and it was also obious that

Max was going to found not guilty i mean come on from the start they talk about how good it's going to be when he is locked up and you could just tell the opposite was going to happen
