Super interesting world building with the Fates and North/South construction with magic, etc. An easy read that was enjoyable and easy to get into, I hope Evangeline has some more character growth in the next book because at times she felt a little bit helpless and wasn’t the most witty character, so I’m hoping as she gets older (her character is only 17 in this book) that her personality grows too. Jacks was great! Loved the twists and turns, left me feeling excited to open the next book and I finished it in a short amount of time which was a welcome change to the other books I’ve been lagging through so slowly.
