On Anarchism by Noam Chomsky

4.0

An interesting review of Chomsky’s interpretations of Anarchism and his position as an Anarchist. I would recommend it for anyone that already has a working knowledge of Anarchism, and an understanding of the philosophical and social thinkers that came before Chomsky. I would advise reading John Stuart Mills ‘On Liberty’ and some of Humbolts works before picking up ‘On Anarchism’, or some of the references to liberalism and libertarian theory may be overwhelming. Highly academic in language, difficult to wade through for those that zone out when faced with too much technical language, but worth trying (it is short in length, which helps!).
