This book is the reason why I forced myself to read the entire series. I knew from the start that Lucy and Sloane’s story was the one I wanted and I was correct in assuming so! Now those Morgan boys were not really it for me, even though I somehow ended up actually liking Nash I still refuse to fully admit that and Knox is actually a huge man child. But it was all worth it for Lucian! He’s like the perfect mix of Olivia Pope and Julian Haites <3 And I absolutely adored Sloane and connected with her on so many levels! And even though I complain and get irrationally angry about the length of these books constantly (no, a romance should not be 600 pages!) I always enjoy a trip back to Knockemout. I absolutely adore Lucy Score’s ability to turn this small town into a full-on character!
