I found an awful 70's movie adaption of this, which made me want to re-read it.
It's super short, but I think it has a pretty powerful story nonetheless.
The young woman's husband is so obsessed by the painting and capturing her beauty that he doesn't even notice her health reclining and her dying.
But since this is such a gothic story; Was the painting magic?
