The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan
4.0

I enjoyed this for a lot of reasons. I identified with Nina on pretty much every level possible. I felt hard the discussions on modern librarianship and books. I loved Nina's journey from a person who hides herself away from the world and in her books to one who was more adventurous. (She was still introverted and a lover of books though. She just found the balance she needed.) The Scottish setting is absolutely perfect. The one thing that kept me from loving it without qualm was the whole terrible ex trope. Let's leave that behind now. Thanks.

I will be reading Colgan's other books.
