Wow. Devastating look at the forces that led to Detroit's fall from post-WW2 glory. Gave a lot of context to the racism that was happening when my parent's generation grew up in Detroit and the beneath-the-surface racism in my suburban hometown that I never really fully understood. This book shook me.
