Most of the stars I've given this book are due to the few wonderful lines and passages I enjoyed. I got the storyline, but didn't feel the high stakes I think I was meant to? I always thought it was going somewhere and would be bigger and more dramatic, but it just didn't? I found the actual ending extremely anti-climactic and am left a bit confused... definitely not my favourite Fitzgerald, but maybe I just need to re-read, who knows?
