This book has such a great premise but it feels like that premise never really went anywhere. I was having fun reading but i was almost finished with the book and realized… this is supposed to be wrapped up in the next 50 pages?  is this supposed to have some sort of meaning behind it? did Lauren really learn or grow throughout this book? in defense of the book, there is a theme going on, but i just never really connected with it on a deep level. I thought this book would be a good contender for making me cry, but i just never felt that invested.
