I was asked to read this and provide my opinion as a psychotherapist (future sex therapist), because apparently the school district of my HS, MS, etc. has had countless meetings on whether or not to “allow” it in the school library.
My response after reading it: “I am more than happy to fly the 2700 miles home, stand in front of the entire district, and tell them why this needs to be so VERY available and accessible to all students of all ages.”
I would even provide my recommendation for it to be taught…
All this to say: what an excellent book. The education, representation, excitement, etc. etc. etc. was astounding. I applaud this author. Thank you for this book.
P.S. special appreciation is felt for ACE representation/conversation and the conversation around consent. Simply invaluable.
