I loved this book. The way Tartt creates the feeling of the scene; the smells and the particular light etc., really makes the book. Boris is a sweetie. Disturbed a bit, but a sweetie. Definitely want to read again to absorb the writing better, maybe annotating- there’s some damn good quotes in there! I loved the character development and also just Theo’s inner monologue and the almost simple but wholly personable and intelligent way it was written. The way it would talk about niche things like a model of furniture like you should already know all these things. I’m excited to read The Secret History!!
