I don’t know if I have the proper words to describe how much I loved this book.
I am and completely hearing person who only knows of the dead community what I have learned in TikTok…which is to say, very little. This was such a wonderfully written story of a CODA, a deaf girl with hearing parents who has a cochlear implant, and a deaf boy with one dead and one hearing parent.
I feel like I learned so much about the deaf community. The story was so rich in detail. All the characters came to life in the page. READ THIS BOOK.
