     Being different from everyone else and not following universal laws of what a human should be, and wanting to be in control of your life and body, then you are an alein.
     The society was so annoying I wished it was a man so I could punch him.
     It also felt representative of life, female life, thought the male character and what she's been through, which makes someone angry.
     Interesting, honest and human-eating.
