Tailchaser's Song by Tad Williams
3.0

I've read this one before, and I remember that I enjoyed it, although I had forgotten everything about the story.

This might reflect more upon me and how many fantasy books I've read, but... enough with all the made up words! It distracted me from the story. Also, I'd guessed the outcome of our hero's quest very early on.

It tries very hard to be another Watership Down, but it falls far short, IMHO.

That's not to say that this is a terrible book; it's not. It's perfectly acceptable, but I just couldn't get into it as much as I would have liked to.
