Plot or Character Driven: Plot

The second book in The Three-Body Problem trilogy. I enjoyed most of it - it's good science fiction and has lots of interesting ideas which are well executed. A huge amount of stuff happens, but it is also well constructed to be coherent at the same time. At times it felt to me that actually too much happens, and there are too many different ideas packed in - but didn't stop me enjoying it. Not quite as good as The Three-Body Problem in my opinion because it's not as coherent a single story. But there are several memorable themes and individual scenes which have stayed with me since finishing it.
