Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall

Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.

Parts of the book were really interesting, but I couldn't get over the writing style unfortunately. Large parts felt really repetitive to me, and i just couldn't focus and ehat the author was trying to say. Some of the language was also too academic to me(non native English speaker and not from the US). Really wish I could wrangle my brain into finishing it, because it is educational and an important book.
