Speculative fiction tends to be hit or miss with me. This was a little of both. I loved the premise and there was a good deal of thrill/ suspense, but the last 5th of the book or so kind of killed it for me. The stories ended up being a bit far fetched. Also, I felt like the characters were pretty one dimensional and unlikeable.
