The beginning was a slog, it only got interesting in the middle which I have found to be the norm in this authors books. But the ending always make up for it and make it worth it. The characters are good, very well rounded and believable. I did want more witchcraft. The story was good and the twists were amazing. The ending was sweet and felt earned.
