Indistractable: How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life
by Nir Eyal, Julie Li
It's an engaging read with short, approachable chapters and not a ton of superfluous explanation--one doesn't get that feeling of "padding" that so many nonfiction books have. I'm not sure if I will implement many of the very detailed suggestions, but it has a lot of good information about why we feel distracted (we can't totally blame technology, but app makers do have special tricks) and how to fight against it and make time for the work we really want to be doing--and to help our kids do the same.
