This book was heavy on nostalgia, and very light on new information.
I thoroughly enjoyed the read, though not quite in the “loved it” category with its predecessors; the original Twilight will always hold a special place in my heart. Reading this through the eyes of a dark romance junkie, not too into fantasy these days, I actually enjoyed how this started off as a stalker storyline. At over 600 pages I definitely struggled to get through some bits; being trapped in Edward's brain listening to others thoughts and constantly being pulled into flashbacks was a drag (I have a much better understanding of his angst now). That being said, this was a much anticipated and satisfying end of an era.
